Tucked in a cove on the coast of Maine you will find a bit of God’s country. Fall foliage, ocean views and “lobsta feeds” are part of the Acadia experience. Acadia CFO is located on Mount Desert Island, Maine, surrounded by Acadia National Park (hence our name). Campers can enjoy the natural beauty of the Park which offers hiking trails and other outdoor recreational activities.

For over 25 years CFO has met at the Claremont Hotel, one of the oldest hotels on Mount Desert Island. The hotel provides the perfect setting for an adult camp of sixty to seventy five people. Small groups enhance the CFO experience. As you enter the hotel lobby on a cool autumn day a warm fire and smiling faces welcome you. Campers are welcomed to the dining room with hugs and on the last day campers can enjoy a Maine “Lobsta Feed.”

Cost Details

PART -TIME CAMPERS are welcome as space is available, rates being an appropriate percent of the 5-day rate.
Registration fees go for expenses, lodging, meals, and travel for leaders. An offering will be received to help with honorariums and scholarships.

Scholarship

SCHOLARSHIPS A limited number of full and partial scholarships for room and board are available. For more information contact the registrar.
