Chris Cooper first came to faith in Jesus Christ in rural western Nebraska as the son of two teachers. As he grew older, he began to serve in CFO as well as various other camping, church, and para-church ministries, serving in various leadership roles that include youth leader, music minister, teacher/speaker, and counselor. A graduate of Wheaton College with a degree in music and communications, he feels God has taught him the value of being moved outside his comfort zone and sense of security to more dependence on Christ through his experiences as a missionary both at home in North America and abroad in his recent years of full time ministry. Chris believes we are called to continued growth, to be stretched and go farther out as we delve deeper into the mysteries of life and faith. His ministry mindset is that of experimenting and exploring how to live and love one another more fully in God’s grace and presence. Chris’ passion is to see the people of God restored to one another as God raises up a people from all generations and cultures that will come together to worship Him wholeheartedly.
